Work Set Skill Requirements:
• 3+ years of food service industry experience with a combination of silver service and casual dining restaurants.
o 1+ year minimum of restaurant management experience in both silver service and casual dining restaurants.
• 3+ years of additional hospitality and customer service experience in a management role.
• Hospitality management and food service industry experience.
• International hospitality experience.
• Training experience.
• 3+ years experience working in financial management with budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures.
• 5+ years of general management experience working with schedules and teams larger than 50 employees.
• Internship and/or work experience with an American hospitality firm or restaurant. I.e. Hilton, Hyatt, Best Western, ec.
• Must have computer experience working with PMS, POS and MS Office systems.
• Previous training management experience in the areas of customer service, service recovery, customer complaint handling, and financial management is required.
• Previous serving, banqueting, catering and event planning and handling experience are essential.
• Must be a visible and hands on manager that is self-motivated and provides continuous support to the staff of the restaurant.
• Occupational Health and Safety and knowledge of food handling laws along with responsible service of alcohol.
• Conflict resolution experience with subordinates and superiors is required.
• Native English speaker.
• Previous experience of handling business and corporate relationships is required.
• Must possess a professional appearance and countenance.
Physical Work Requirements:
• Must be able to stand on feet for more than 10 hours in a day.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Education Requirements:
• A Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Hotel Management (B.B.A in HM)
o Preference to applicants who graduated with Honors.
• A Master degree in Business Administration or International Business (MBA or MSc)
• Additional food service handling certificates or equivalent is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certificates are preferred.
