We are looking for individuals who have an interest in food and drinks, enjoy a fun work environment, and are driven to provide the best possible service to our guests. The pace in our restaurants is often high, so being quick and stress-resistant is essential. You should be flexible, responsible, and solution-oriented in your work, enjoying collaboration in a team characterized by professional and cheerful cooperation, where you take responsibility for creating a positive atmosphere. For all these roles, we are looking for someone comfortable with Swedish and/or English.
Chef
As a chef/cold kitchen worker, you will collaborate with the head chef to plan operations and be part of the team producing all the food for the unit. Together with your colleagues, you ensure the highest food quality and work towards the department's goals. We are looking for someone with restaurant education or previous experience in a similar role, aged at least 18, who looks forward to delivering extraordinary taste experiences to our guests every time.
Kitchen Assistant
For the kitchen assistant role, we seek someone with a genuine interest in cooking, viewing this as an opportunity to gain further experience in the restaurant industry. Tasks mainly involve assisting in the kitchen with all aspects of food preparation. You should be excited about delivering exceptional taste experiences to our guests.
Waiter/Waitress
As a waiter/waitress at Gröna Lund, you work in a dynamic environment due to our diverse target audience. Your responsibilities include taking table orders, managing payments, and sales reporting. We are looking for individuals with previous experience as waiter/waitress in à la carte settings, responsible for their own station and cash. Having undergone restaurant education is a plus. If you meet the requirements, you can also apply for Gröna Lund's own service academy.
Bartender
As a bartender at Gröna Lund, you work in a changing environment due to our varied target audience. In this role, you handle the serving of beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, managing the cash register and processing payments. We welcome applicants with previous bartender experience or those interested in developing in the role, as training opportunities will be provided before the season. Having completed a bartender training is advantageous. The minimum age requirement is 18.
Restaurant Assistant
The restaurant assistant role is exciting and diverse, suitable for those curious about the restaurant industry. Tasks range from maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant to serving our guests. Enjoy working in a team and aiming to provide an exceptional experience to our guests. Due to extensive guest interaction, being service-oriented and ensuring excellent customer service is crucial. Some positions may involve heavy lifting. Previous experience in a restaurant or café is a plus.
Dishwasher
As a dishwasher, you play a key role, often acting as the linchpin in both the dining room and kitchen. We are looking for individuals with previous dishwasher experience, demonstrating engagement and an efficient work style to ensure safe and smooth dishwashing. Responsibilities include handling dishwashers, replenishing glasses, cutlery, plates, and maintaining order in the dishwashing area. Heavy lifting may be involved.
Information about the Positions
All Gröna Lund staff undergo valuable training in service and the systems we use. The positions are seasonal, running from April to the end of September, with the possibility of extension for Halloween. Some positions may have shorter durations, covering parts of the season. Working hours vary based on low or high season and are adapted to the business's opening hours, including daytime, evenings, and weekends.
