Espresso House Group currently has more than 400 coffee shops in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Germany and opens more than one new shop per week. In addition, we own a coffee roastery (Johan & Nyström) and have our own bakery in Malmö. The group is owned by the private investment group JAB Holding Company.
Group functions (finance, IT, group marketing, concept, group purchasing and group HR) are few. But the tempo is very high.
Currently the direct reports to Group CFO are three: CIO, Finance & Accounting manager and head of Business Intelligence / Business Control. The position head of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) is a new position carving out certain responsibilities today done by either Group CFO or the direct reports.
As head of FP&A you report directly to Group CFO.
At the start you have no personnel responsibility but are responsible for the following very important areas:
Annual 5-year planning process
Annual budget process
Running the group financial model
Cash flow management and optimization:
- Working capital management incl. supplier negotiations etc.
- Capex follow-up and allocation to markets
- Debt management and bank financing
Certain coordination with our owners
Various strategic and/or business development projects incl. M&A
The position reports to Group CFO and is based in the head office in Stockholm on Drottninggatan. Some traveling in the Nordics and Europe would be required.
Who are you?
You have an MSc in engineering or finance and also several years of relevant working experience.
Strong analytics - extensive financial modeling experience required
Management consultant and/or corporate finance experience
Driven problem solver and doer
Project management and leadership skills
Strong social skills and fit with a VERY people oriented corporate culture
