quality assurance (QA) engineer to help us ensure the quality of our audio/video
stack. In an informal environment, you will work closely with software and
algorithm developers on improving Skype audio and video call quality. Your main
tasks will be to design, execute and document test cases for multiple
environments, and to build automated test systems to assist software developers
in their daily work. 'Responsibilities: * Work closely with software and

conditions. * Design, execute and document automated test systems to assist
software developers in their daily work. Pre-requisite knowledge, skills and
experience: . You are tech-savy yet can set yourself in end user's position
• You are able to learn and interested in learning new technologies .
Good knowledge of C/C++ 'Big plus if you have: . Experience of
developing and executing tests for real time systems . Experience with IP
networking for real-time applications. . Knowledge of audio and/or video
processing. . Experience using at least one shell environment or script
language to automate your tasks . BS degree in CS/EE or equivalent
Requirements that apply to all: . Ability to prioritize multiple and
diverse tasks expected . Good technical, analytical and communication skills
• Very good command of English . A 'can-do' attitude and a serious
desire to have an impact on changing the way people communicate . You don't
tolerate mistakes and errors, you're pedant in a positive way . Manage your
own time and tasks efficiently so that you meet thedeadlines . Knowledge of
QA and testing methodology and processes . Perl, Python, Unit and test
automation experience is a big plus . Experience with a defect tracking
system (e.g. Bugzilla) . Excellent trouble-shooting skills Work
