Resident Engineer to exciting Automotive Company

As our new Resident Engineer you will work on site at our client and be the technical interface between them and the Customers Engineering teams. We believe that you have a good understanding about the areas of system, SW, HW, mechanics, requirements and diagnosis. You will be the first point of contact for problem-solving activities at Customers including trouble shooting, testing as well as maintaining the latest HW/SW component status in customer test equipment. You will occasionally work at the customers location and enable a great collaboration through good product knowledge and support in trouble shooting.
Main responsibilities
• Support customer requirements capture, discussion and drive internal impact analyses (on design, development, test timing and cost)
• Acts as customer interface for the product test and design team and ensures internal processes, tools, project timing and scope of deliveries are matching
• Understands and surveys evolutions in customer processes and tools and drives permanent improvement by applying lessons learned process
• Contributes with customer requirement and process knowledge to the high-level system design as well as performing coding, flashing, reading out of electronic control units and maintenance of needed tools
• Provides high-level analyses of customer design issues
• Customer Near-Testing and assessment of functions. Testing in OEM cars.
• Controls and performs the problem resolution process in handling customer error reports and drives the internal management of customer and internal error reports with related customer communication
• Resides on demand at customer electronics departments for on-site support
• Support test team with system specific testing Support and participate customer test campaign
Requirements
• Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Previous experience as a Resident Engineer within System Testing
• Preferably 3-5 years in automotive product development
• Driving License B
• English fluently, both in speaking and writing. Swedish is meritorious
• Good product- and system knowledge as well as good product technology- and test knowledge
• Basic knowledge in hardware and Software
