If so, we are looking for you to join us as a Resident Engineer in our Active Safety projects.
Job description
Delphi develops our Active Safety products at several sites: Hardware from the US or at other sites in Europe; Systems and Software lead roles in Sweden. For our specific applications to customers in Scandinavia, we have residents to support the project. Residents sit at the customer site and act as a liaison between Delphi and our customers, working across mechanical, electrical, and software competencies to develop requirements, update products, perform and/or support testing and expeditions, and improve communication. As we have multiple projects in the Active Safety domain, you will be part of a small team of other residents with similar products and projects. You will be managed by a team leader who will sit at the primary customer location and will be the first escalation point for the customer for support. You are responsible for the customer support and satisfaction for your particular product and project.
Competence
• Required: BSc or MSc D/IT/F/E/Z or corresponding education
• Preferred: 2-4 years of experience as a software, electrical, mechanical, or systems engineer, including significant customer interaction
• Preferred: Good understanding in the development work, preferable in embedded systems, and agile methods. Good knowledge of quality norms and work according to SPICE
• Required: Knowledge of the automotive and/or truck business in general and in particular working within safety, body, infotainment, powertrain, and/or chassis systems
• Required: Fluency in English, preference shown to candidates with fluent Swedish and additional language skills are a benefit, particularly German or Polish
• Preferred: Knowledge of communication protocols and tools; e.g. CAN, LIN, MOST, FlexRay, Bluetooth, and/or Ethernet
• Preferred: Knowledge or experience in vision, radar, and/or fusion technologies
• Preferred: Knowledge of diagnostics
• Preferred: Knowledge in AutoSAR
• Required: Excellent interpersonal skills; mature and stable demeanor
Experience from the following areas are desirable
• Resident Engineering for Automotive or Truck OEM
• Functional Safety
• Software engineering
• Requirement tools e.g. Doors
• Model based development and tools e.g. Matlab/Simulink, UML or dSpace
