We are looking for experienced Tour Managers / Program Directors who will lead "Grand Baltic Sea Voyage" from Copenhagen to Stockholm OR our NEW "Fjord Cruise & Lapland: Norway, Finland & the Arctic" tour from Oslo to Helsinki (including Hurtigruten), with Copenhagen and Stockholm extensions.

The tours start in April and run throughout the summer season until November. We serve exclusively American travelers.
WORKING RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
• Describing points of interest and providing informative talks on the bus, onboard ship and throughout the day
• Compiling and delivering onboard briefings on the history, culture and highlights of the ports, towns/cities and countries we visit
• Providing commentary and informative talks on points of interest during off-ship activities
• Conducting guided tours, discovery walks and accompanying travelers "off the beaten track" locations
• Ensuring guests are exposed to many learning and discovery opportunities, including home visits and exposure to local cuisine.
• Confirming arrangements for the necessary transportation and activities and working with local guides/vendors
• Selling of the Grand Circle Cruise lines excursions
• Arranging medical assistance for the guests in case of emergency, interpreting and helping them with all further issues in a professional and responsive manner
• Well-travelled with guiding experience in one or more areas we will operate in
• Prior ship experience an advantage but not essential
• Good overview and knowledge of the history and culture of your area
• Ability to relate well to the mature American traveler
• Ability to share life experiences, and a willingness to discuss controversial topics with guests
• Ability to learn, try new things and go outside of your comfort zone
• A strong and engaging leader who is flexible, creative, independent and highly organized
• Flexible, teamwork, leadership and organizational skill
• Stress resistant an open to receiving feedback
• An excellent command of English
• Nationals or resident of Scandinavia or the Baltics
