Researcher position in EMF Safety and Sustainability unit at Ericsson Research
The unit EMF Safety and Sustainability within Ericsson Research has the corporate responsibility for research related to human exposure to radiofrequency (RF) electromagnetic fields (EMF) from wireless products. The activities include coordination of Ericsson's support of independent research related to EMF exposure and health, development of test procedures for the assessment of product compliance with RF exposure limits, participation in international EMF exposure standardization, and providing support and information on EMF exposure within Ericsson and to customers and other stakeholders.
In this position, your main task will be to take part in EMF research projects conducting assessments of RF exposure from wireless equipment using experimental and computational techniques.
Education/experience:
The applicant should have a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, or similar engineering education program, with a particularly good grade average and have an interest in wireless communications and electromagnetics.
Very good English skills are a prerequisite and completed courses in Electromagnetic Theory, Antenna Theory, and Wireless Communication Systems are considered an additional qualification. Capacity to work independently as well as in a team and to communicate in a clear way is needed.
