RISE is today engaged in several applied AI projects and are now expanding. We are looking for a researcher with well documented experience in applied deep learning, statistical analysis and possible NLP and causal inference. About the position
You will work on applied AI and data analysis projects in collaboration with the industry, the public sector, and academia. Experience with modern deep learning, as well as statistical data analysis frameworks is necessary, as is a passion for working on solving real world problems in various application domains, which may involve NLP and causal interference as well. We also aim to produce state-of-the art research and to publish in major venues, as well as state-of-the-art solutions for our industrial and public-sector partners. Our weekly seminars carries presentations about interesting new findings from recent conferences or from Arxiv, and is appreciated by a steady group of followers.
Starting date: second half of March 2021.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate for this position should have completed a research education with a PhD degree, and show a well-documented history of insightful work in the area. Preferably, this includes working with recent deep learning and data analysis techniques, and adapting them to various application areas, in combination with statistical data analysis, with a variety of data modalities, including unstructured text, ideally both in academic and in business environments. If you are driven to push the boundaries of what is possible with AI, chances are that you are the right person for this job.
