AMEXCI AB is an Additive Manufacturing company founded by twelve industrial companies in Sweden. Our vision is to futureproof our Nordic Industries together with our customers, by accelerating the industrial adoption of Additive Manufacturing (AM/Industrial 3D printing) technologies, making them even more competitive and sustainable on the global market.
We support our customers throughout the entire process chain in the development of their products, using AM as an enabler for higher performance, increased efficiency, shorter lead times, and more. At our labs in Karlskoga, Sweden, we have the capability to design, produce and qualify components using state-of-the-art industrial AM equipment.
We are expanding our Research team and we are looking for astrong candidate to join our team as a Researcher.

The Job:
• You will be part of the Research department and reporting to the Head of Research, while working in close contact with the entire AMEXCI team
• You will take part in customer projects as well as public funded projects and will have a relevant role within them
• You will have direct contact with customers within project discussions and will be their point of contact for your own projects
• You will work closely with the Innovation department in performing tasks for AM-related research projects
Qualifications:
• You hold a Master of science degree in engineering, material science or similar
• You have at least 2 years of experience as a researcher, preferably with a metal background
• You have a structured and independent way of working and always thrive to deliver according to time plan while ensuring the best quality
• You are motivated and eager to learn continuously
• You are good in analytical thinking, analysis of data and are familiar with writing reports
• Previous experience in additive manufacturing, mechanical testing, quality assurance or lab-work is a plus
• Since our official company language is English, it is important that you have excellent English communication skills
• How you are as a person is important to fit within our team so part of the recruitment process will include meeting with your future colleagues.
