This is your opportunity to join an international team, execute research projects, and further develop technical support to the sales and marketing organization. Key Responsibilities

• Perform and be accountable for research projects decided by the research manager or board in areas of importance to Nynas.
• Assure that the results from the executed projects are communicated within the organization.
• Represent the company in international research consortia and scientific associations of special interest.
• Provide competent support to the sales and marketing functions in Naphthenics.
• Manage research projects on production, properties and application of speciality oils.
• Propose and develop ideas leading to product- or competence improvement.

Candidate Profile

• PhD in analytical chemistry with strong publication record.
• Expertise in advanced mass spectroscopy and chemical separation techniques, in particular related to analysis of complex hydrocarbon matrices.
• Ideally with experience of petroleum products and/or analysis of polyaromantic compounds.
• A strong interest in industrial chemical processes and chemical HSE issues.
• A usable network of contacts at oil companies, research institutes and academic departments.
• An expert who wants to play in a team of other competences.
