In this role you will work in our Technology Planning team, which has the responsibility to identify, analyze and deeply research trends, technologies and solutions that may affect our future wireless network products.
You will mainly be assigned to work in a specific multi-year advanced antenna research project, targeting future massive MIMO solutions, where you are expected to strengthen the small project team and contribute with your key expertise. However, part of your time you will also work with the rest of the team with technology planning in and around your area of expertise.
To be successful in this role a very solid theoretical understanding of electromagnetics and antennas is required since your main contribution shall be to help us with advanced antenna research, beyond the borders of current knowledge, for new 6G Massive MIMO antenna implementations. In this role it helps a lot to be the kind of person who can make yourself feel comfortable outside your comfort zone. Providing new understanding is our measure of success.
Qualifications & experience
You probably have a background of a Ph.D. or Postdoc in the area of electromagnetics and antenna theory & technologies, or you may have many years (at least 10 to 15) of relevant experience from working outside academia.
Specific relevant competence areas:
o Electromagnetic Field Theory, and specifically Applied Electromagnetic Field Theory
o Array Antennas, and technologies & implementation solutions for them
o Information Theory & Communication Theory
Analytical, open-minded, conscientious, solution-oriented, self-driving with a professional attitude
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
You are able to document and present your work in a clear, effective and to the point language
