hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos R&d Mölndal i Mölndal We are seeking talented and motivated Synthetic Chemists to join us at the department of Medicinal Chemistry CVGI, AstraZeneca R&D, Mölndal as senior research scientists.
Your role will involve synthesis, purification and structural elucidation of biologically active compounds to help drive drug hunting projects and could include the design of new compounds based on the data generated.
You will require high standards of scientific work, a highly developed understanding of reaction mechanisms and good laboratory focus. In your role you will work as a member of a chemistry team and collaborate with other team members to help drive projects forward. You may also work closely with experts from other areas of discovery in multidisciplinary project teams. You will be structured yet flexible and creative, preferably with previous industrial experience of drug development. You will also have a PhD in the field of synthetic organic or medicinal chemistry or equivalent experience. Interpersonal skills are highly valued.
