Imagine yourself working with cutting-edge technologies - like vision systems, radar, lidar, thermal sensing, electronic controls, and human-machine interface - developed to prevent traffic incidents from happening and mitigate the effect when accidents are unavoidable. Challenging and deeply satisfying.

What you 'll do and your responsibilities:

We are now looking for a Research Project Leader for our Research & Innovation department.

You will be responsible for progress in several projects, meeting time plans, keeping to the budget and achieving the goals. One aim, on top of the project objectives, is also to involve internal stakeholders so that we make sure that Veoneer utilizes the work. The teamwork will involve research specialists and research engineers, implementation, and verification in our Research & Concepts Lab at Vårgårda.

Some projects involve working and collaborating with external partners in governmental partly funded projects and you will be the spokesperson and represent Veoneer.
Other projects could be shorter proof-of-concepts that could be bilateral, within MobilityXlab or some other idea we need to test.

Who we're looking for:

At research and innovation we value personalities that appreciate not having all the answers, finding their ways forward anyway. The research mind is to be curious, explorative but also to get to the test bench evaluating new things. All product areas are within our scope and potentially new verticals too.

We value a can-do attitude, engagement, an open mindset and the ability to create and sustain good relationships with customers and colleagues.

We are searching for you who are creative in terms of new ideas and methods. You take responsibility and initiatives, and are able to adapt in different contexts.

By being organized and proactive you act quickly to the needs of the organization with high quality. You share knowledge and best practice with colleagues and organization, and you posses good communication skills.

The Veoneer organization is full of various expertise, both globally and locally. By using your network, both inside and outside of the organization, you actively seek new information and improvements.
