The Program
At Essity, we see graduates as playing a central role in challenging the status quo, driving change, and making a positive impact on the business along with hygiene and health globally. A career in Essity is about being inspired, challenging yourself and others, and being motivated to achieve your goals and try new things.
Selected candidates will participate in a two-year Graduate On-boarding (GO!) Program within the Essity organization, starting in the autumn, 2018. The GO! Program provides a real job with a real development plan to give you a strong foundation to drive your development and career within Essity.
The Onboarding Program is based on relevant tasks, clear responsibilities and specific learning goals. This will provide participants with a deep understanding of the Essity global organization, technical knowledge, processes and tools, while simultaneously delivering concrete results to the business.
Focus Areas
You will be assigned to one of the Product Development teams in the R&D Personal Care organization. The team works with a dedicated product area and is responsible for developing new and existing products to meet the consumer and business needs. We as a team translate consumer needs to product functions and further to product design parameters/technical solutions and establish specifications with relevant targets and methods. We offer you a challenging job in a global company with many strong international brands.
Key focus area will initially be to participate in development projects or similar in order to gain as much experience as possible from the whole value chain.
If you are interested in gaining work experience and entering the field of R&D, then this GO! Program will allow you to build a broad and deep competence and knowledge in relevant technical area(s) in terms of Essity and competitors' products, patents, technologies and materials as well as market and industry trends.
Your Profile
We find the GO! Program is a great way to start to use those skills you have learned and put them to the test in a real job with real responsibility, while you take the driver's seat in your development.
Work experience is not required, but appropriate internships are an advantage
Obtained a Master's degree in relevant fields achieved no later than 18 months ago will be a prerequisite
Excellent level of English is required, an additional language, it is always a plus
Availability for traveling and relocating may be required
Enthusiastic, passionate and curious person who demonstrate the ability to be team-players who can contribute to our ongoing success
