Mat4green Tech AB is a start-up company founded in 2017 and located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The business idea of the start-up is the production of semiconductor and conductor powder materials and their final products for electronic and solar cell industries by their unique process technology. The company also works on developing recycling technologies from manufacturing waste of the mentioned industries as well as end-of-life (EoL) waste streams. Currently, Mat4green Tech AB focuses on developing its' sustainable powder production process.
Position Summary
It is an announcement for a research engineer position with full-time temporary employment. The
position is limited to two years.
Major Responsibilities
You will work on the development and optimization of the demonstration-scale semiconductor material production process from raw material to the final product. Thus, the responsibilities cover
raw material preparation, hand-on production work to test different parameters, redesign the process parts for upgrading, and also characterization of the materials. In addition to these, you will perform research on the final product preparation, as well a coordinate the process stages.
Qualifications
You have an MSc or preferably PhD degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, and/or Material Science subjects. The candidates ability to combine creativity and research experience with a focus on applications to generate industry-ready solutions leading to commercialization is a strong advantage. Although we are a small active team and all team members have several responsibilities, everybody arranges their work plan according to the deadlines. Thus the candidate should be self-propelled and ready to work in a flexible working environment. We are therefore looking for candidates who are team players but also take responsibility for their own tasks. You should further be able to collect and analyze information, to solve problems, and to take decisions. The position requires sound verbal and written communication skills in English.
