The Role
We are offering a challenging position of a Research and development electronics engineer/physicist with a genuine interest in optoelectronic design, preferably combined with team leading and customer interaction.
Our multi-touch products contain advanced electronics and PCBs, which are key to serve the optical requirements as well as providing a platform for signal processing. The primary responsibility of this position is to research and develop smart nanomaterials that can be used to improve functionality and efficiency of our future products. Also, together with our sourcing organization you will interact with vendors and partners to make sure all pieces fulfill the needed requirements. You will be responsible for how to setup relevant measurements and tools related to that as well.
You will contribute to the innovation in our company, identifying areas of improvements and optimizations and driving them to real and concrete solutions.
Candidate Profile
You have a Ph.D. or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics or equal level of competence, combined with several years of work experience within development of nanomaterials and deep knowledge of light-nanostructure physics.
Desirable competence areas:
• Strong skills and in-depth understanding of optics, electronics design, including schematics and PCB
• Understanding and experience in micro controllers and processors
• Understanding and experience in signal integrity and EMC
• Experience in verification and validation planning and execution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably also in Swedish
Experience in PCB/CAD/layout is considered a merit
Location will be at our HQ in Lund, Sweden.
