Wrknest is looking for a Research Engineer with knowledge in organic chemistry for Ebba Biotech (

This is an opportunity for you who are at the beginning of your career and want to get valuable experience in production laboratory and customer contact from a rapidly growing start-up in Biotech. Ebba Biotech was founded in 2016 by professor Agneta Richter-Dahlfors to enable commercial applications and more widespread use of fluorescent tracer (Optotracers) molecules. From their laboratory in Karolinska Institutet Science Park in Solna, Ebba Biotech produces, sells and delivers the many variants of purpose-built fluorescent tracer (Optotracer) molecules to research laboratories, hospitals and industry worldwide. We are now looking for their next Reserach Engineer that will work with their product Carbotrace.
This is a direct recruitment, which means that Wrknest handles the recruitment process, but you will be employed directly by Ebba Biotech.
Job Responsibilities
As a Research Engineer, you will work to expand Carbotrace on the global market, which will be done by working with:
• Prospecting global customers such as companies and academic institutions
• Represent Ebba Biotech and present Carbotrace to potential customers
• Create and follow up offers within the product area
• Product support to customers - which also can include developing lab work and protocols
Product description of Carbotrace
Carbotrace is used for mapping molecular composition of a wide range of bio-based materials.
Customer segment include
• Researchers within production of textiles, food industry etc.
• Researchers within recycling bio-based materials including bio-fuels
• Plant physiologists
Job Requirements
• Academic degree in organic chemistry
• It's great if you besides English, have understanding in Swedish
