Offer
We are now looking to expand our innovative research department by employing a talented research engeneer. RaySearch is always striving to improve the quality of radiotherapy and in this position you will assist in taking adaptive radiotherapy to the next level. The position is based at our new head office in central Stockholm and entitles fulltime, permanent work.
About the department
As a reseach engineer you will be part of our forward-thinking research team whos resonisbility it is to take brilliant ideas on how to advance radiotherapy planning and make them into prototype implementations. The prototypes are later productified by our development department to be parts of our advanced software for radiotherapy.
Responsibilities
In your role as a research engineer your main focus will be within adaptive radiotherapy where deformable image registration, among other things, plays an important role. You will work within the adaptive radiotherapy group of the research department, but also be involved in several of our research collaborations with clinics all over the world.
Qualifications and skills
Requirements:
• MSc degree
• 0-3 years experience, either in academy or industry, with solving image analysis problems
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Programming skills including Python, C++ and/or C#
Desirable
• Experience in radiation therapy and/or medical imaging
Personal profile
To suit this position you need to have:
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Problem solving skills, personal drive and confidence
• Be structured with strong attention to details
