The Start to Finish department includes an Extractables and Leachables section. The section focuses on fulfilling and developing the GE Healthcare strategy regarding extractables and leachables (E&L). This by characterization of components and material in new and existing product. The work will be in close collaboration with other teams and functions locally and globally.

Essential Responsibilities:
We are now seeking a Research Engineer with solid experience in mass spectrometry. The Research Engineer position is responsible for routine analysis in a regulated environment.
• Perform analytical lab work including LC-MS and GC-MS
• Analyze data from the lab
• Document labwork in laboratory journal
• Write reports
• Drive improvements in the lab and in ways of working

Qualifications/Requirements:
• MSc or BSc or equivalent experience in Analytical chemistry
• Solid experience in mass spectrometry (GC-MS, LC-MS)
• Strong experience from analyses in a regulated environment eg. ISO 17025 or GxP
• English and Swedish as a working language
• Strong communication skills
• Advanced computer skills- ability to work in lab/office software and internal systems
