As a Research Director within our team your key priority is commercial development and conduction of research projects for the US market, within the FMCG specific industry. You will be based in our Stockholm office, but work on local US projects. You pursue business and identify promising prospects within our GfK network. Being close to the customer and their challenges, you convince them of the added value that Simstore can bring to their business.

At all times, you undertake appropriate action to keep on exceeding customer expectations and delivering a first class service. Thanks to your industry expertise you are able to build a long-term partnership with our customers, providing them with actionable & advanced marketing recommendations which have an impact on their decision-making & leverage their business.

Core tasks
• Pursue business opportunities within the US with the help of GfK local teams
• Manage and conduct quantitative resarch projects (alone and in teams) for the US market
• Developing & delivering convincing proposals to customers
• Proactive contact and follow-up
• Developing insights based on research findings
• Presenting recommendations to customers, together with the client team, you transform insights and recommendations into a concrete action plan

General requirements
• Master degree in economics, marketing or similar
• 5+ years experience of the US market research industry (specific focus on FMCG) from the customer side and/or as a consultant at another research company
• You are a skilled project manager used to analysing and draw conclusions from data (you will write questionnaires, recommend suitable research methods, analyse data, write and present reports to our clients)
• Strong business development skills
• Local knowledge of US market research industry both within shopper and consumer
• Fluent in English, verbal as well as written.
• Experienced in using SPSS, Excel and Power Point
• Role is based in Sweden but you should be flexible to travel to/from the US
