Our work takes place in cooperation with and in strategic agreements with companies, organisations and public authorities in the region.

Position description
The Future Energy Center is one of the strategic research profiles at MDH. We have about 30 researchers and 40 PhD students in developing new processes, streamlining existing processes and developing new automation solutions to process industry, transport and energy systems. We are looking for a research assistant in one of our KKS-funded projects, focusing on gas turbine sub-idle modeling, and especially compressor map generation in the sub-idle region. For this, mathematical and physics-based modeling is combined to improve the accuracy of the resulting map that will be used in the modeling of gas turbine startup. The position is primarily for half a year from July to December, with the possibility of extension.
Qualification requirements

The applicant shall have experience in fluid dynamics and gas turbines, and shall have researched in the field of technology and have at least one MSc in Aeronautics or have equivalent knowledge.

Merit
It is meritorious to have worked closely with companies as the project will be carried out in close collaboration with a gas turbine company. It is also meritorious to have worked with CFD and modeling of gas turbine components.
