The overall goal is to achieve optimized software designs in such settings by application of state-of-the-art optimization, minimizing resource requirements in such systems. The intention of the open position is to strengthen the personnel within the project in its final stage (for the duration of the remainder of 2017).
The applicant is required to have a master's degree in computer science or similar. Due to the nature of the project and the current phase of the project, the applicant must be familiar with software design in automotive applications as well as cloud computing and how to optimize resource usage in such systems. Experience of research and track record of published research results in relevant journals and conferences. The applicant must work together with the other members of the research project.
Decisive importance is attached to personal suitability. We value the qualities that an even distribution of age and gender, as well as ethnic and cultural diversity, can contribute to the organization.
Merit:
Due to the short duration of the project, experience of real-time systems is a must. Moreover, the applicant must have a proven track record of application of optimization in the context of software systems. Also, knowledge of automotive and cloud computing systems is required. These merits are key to a flying start (within the project) of the applicant.
