Architecture & Technology is a unit within Sandviks integrated IT organization and consists of approximately 20 employees. We are now looking for an R&D Manager to be based in Sandviken, Sweden.
Key performance areas
As the manager of R&D Management, you will lead the work and act as the coordinating function of all design solutions in scope. As R&D Manager your main tasks include the following:
• Manage the creation of all major design proposals in scope.
• Manage the ownership of the above until an SLA handshake is completed.
• Structure and manage the design of customer solutions based on the SITS service portfolio and in line with customer strategy.
• Actively work to drive movement towards substantially greater usage of global services.
• Feed needs for development of services to the Service Management function.
You will report to the head of Architecture & Technology.
Your profile
You hold a Bachelor of Science degree or the equivalent. Experience from all aspects of Research and development of IT is advantageous, as is experience in leadership or from other responsible roles in a supervisory capacity.
You are a result-oriented relationship builder, customer oriented, and a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
