Bohus BioTech is in Strömstad on the west coast of Sweden. All our products are developed and manufactured at our modern production facilities.
Bohus Biotech is now looking for a Research and Development Engineer. As a Research and Development Engineer you will be part of an exciting and highly innovative company where Research and Development are central to the work. You will report directly to the Managing Director and co-operate with the Research and Development Manager, in order to make the R&D department function as efficient as possible.
Main roles:
• Research on relevant substances and new applications/areas of development.
• Research and development of new and/or modified products based on input from customers or other sources.
• Research, development, validation and implementation of new and modified manufacturing processes.
• Preparation and achievement of research and development plans under the supervision of the Managing Director.
• Laboratory management: work instructions, documentation of tests and experiments, equipment, instruments.
The successful candidate has an education within bioengineering with experience from biomaterials, biochemistry etc. or other relevant education and a genuine passion for research. Further to this you should have at least two years of relevant industrial experience. Knowledge from Pharmaceutical industry is a plus. You are an enthusiastic, flexible and a naturally talented person to interact in a team. Your communications skills are on a high level in Swedish as well as in English.
