Research and Development Engineer for Special Car Tools (m/f)
As Research and Development Engineer, you will be a strategic business partner who has the ability to work in a fast paced, high-energy environment. You will be an important interface to our customer, a car manufacturer in Gothenburg and ensure a successful progress of current and future projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Special Car Tool development closely together with the Car Manufacturer's Method and R&D Engineers
• Searching for technical information in the different Car Manufacturer's Data Base Systems
• Searching for Car Manufacturer s component drawings also on a virtual basis
• Preparing sketches for new special car tools
• Working closely together with the SPX CAD Design Engineering Team
• Prototype check and try out with Car Manufacturer s on vehicles / components
• Special Car Tool drawing control and drawing approval for production
• Driving the Car Manufacturer s Sign Off Process for Special Car Tool approval
Requirements
• Some years of experience in an OEM technical service organization desirable
• Very good engineering skills
• Good knowledge in vehicle repair and service processes
• Solid knowledge in the automotive environment
• Knowledge in Car Manufacturer s technical service process would be an advantage
• Good team working skills
• Good CAD skills - CATIA, SolidWorks would be an advantage
• Fluent in English
