This recruitment is to strengthen a global team of dedicated experts that are responsible for identifying new technologies, building up competencies on identified areas and sharing the knowledge within the field of Electromobility Sub-systems.
Our team closely follows the front line technology and research on hybrid electric powertrains, electrical energy storage systems, electric drives and charging technology. The group runs and participates in a wide range of projects with short-term, as well as long-term goals. For example, design and implementation of prototypes and products, feasibility studies, concept vehicles etc.
Core Responsibilities:
Participate and assist in project teams associated with battery systems, electric drives research and development, and Volvos hybrid vehicle integration programs
Participate in component and system level testing activities
Create project schedules and budgets, and manage projects to completion, including written reports and technical papers
Required Competencies:
Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
Expertise in some of the technology fields: electric motors and drives, electric energy storage systems, energy management systems and hybrid vehicle controls
Ability to combine theoretical end experimental work
Good communication and teamwork skills
To be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
Positive, creative and with good ability to communicate technical knowledge to others (good educationalist)
Enjoying collaborating in global teams
Excellent spoken and written English
Minimum Years of Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience related to hybrid electrical vehicle field
Minimum Education Required:
Doctorate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields
Physical Requirements if applicable
