Job Description
Our client's function within Q&CS is now seeking a Requirement Engineer for the Gothenburg site, who has the drive and passion to contribute to future solutions of their products, using both your knowledge and curiosity to find the best solutions together with your colleagues within Parts & Service and Product Development.
This function is responsible to deliver service instructions, drivers handbook, design and function, accessories installations. The Requirement Engineer gives early input in projects with the goal to minimize customer downtime. The client values a responsibility taking personality with a positive and supportive mindset as well as great communication skills.
Main activities and responsibilities:
• Gather and analyze Product and Project information in order to make early judgment of technical solutions from a serviceability perspective
• Communicate agreed requirements and clarify expectations in a constructive dialogue with product development
• Secure aftermarket requirements are handled and understood
• Validate concept selections regarding serviceability
Qualifications
To be a good match for this position, you have:
• University/Master's degree in engineering or equivalent competence
• Experience of vehicle repair and maintenance
• Experience of the DVP process (Develop Product & Aftermarket Product Portfolio) is a merit
• Aftermarket knowledge within the service area
• 5-10 years of experience from aftermarket or product development within the automotive industry
• Business oriented with a clear customer focus
• Holistic view and ability to work cross functionally and build strong relations
• Drive to improve our way of working, with strong implementation skills
• Eager to learn and work with your own development
• High integrity, trust and ability to follow trough
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
