Job Description
As a requirement engineer, you will be supporting one or more eBike teams, enabling them to develop products and modules for the Bosch eBike System. You will be creating component requirements, both from system requirements as well as user stories, documenting and validating them, hosting reviews, aligning with other components and stakeholders as well as doing requirement elicitation. You will also be reviewing both system requirements, system architecture and API: s, securing the level of quality needed in order to break them down into component requirements.
You will be part of creative and innovative activities for bike computers, connectivity modules and display units. The Lund teams cover a wide range of technology areas such as embedded real-time systems, communication via CAN, BLE and cellular, displays and user interfaces on RTOS as well as embedded Linux/Android platforms, algorithm development including machine learning and interaction with cloud backend and mobile Apps.
Qualifications
A successful candidate must be a team player with strong social skills, initiative as well as a cross-functional mindset. Furthermore, you have a strong drive, a "can-do" positive attitude and you take ownership of your assignments. The work we perform is very hands-on, why experience of working with embedded devices or similar is necessary and you appreciate working close to the hardware.
Personal profile
Master/Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
Strong sense of quality, customer- and goals focus - seeing the big picture
Passionate about requirements
Understanding the full development cycle, both from a development and a verification point of view.
Experience of driving your own work while also participating in the team
Experience of scrum
Experience of a similar role is a merit
Experience of Confluence, JIRA and JAMA is a merit
Experience of SAFe, Scaled Agile Framework is a merit
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in written form, especially in English
Expectations
You will be a key figure in assuring that we develop the "right" product in time to market, making sure that we are giving a world-class experience to our users
Taking ownership for the requirement work
Be in close collaboration with the product owners, developers, test engineers and other components
Investigate and/or discuss findings with developers, product owners, requirement engineers and the test team
Feedback input to the test engineers about test cases that you see are missing
