Service Engineering & Information Management (SEIM)
SEIM is a function within Parts & Service and Global Bus Technology at Volvo Buses. We are responsible for increasing uptime and profitability for the bus owners by ensuring the best in class Service Information, Service Program and Driver 's Information. We are located in Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Poland and India. In the actual Gothenburg site we are a team of 17 persons with a friendly and helpful atmosphere. Further we are located close together with other functions at Parts & Service.
We are now recruiting a Requirement Engineer for the Gothenburg site, who has the drive and passion to contribute to future solutions of our products, using both your knowledge and curiosity to find the best solutions together with our colleagues within Parts & Service, Product Development & business regions and customers.
Position Description
As a Requirement Engineer you are responsible for setting early requirements in projects to secure the best serviceability for our vehicles. You are also securing the aftermarket SEIM scope for projects through the project description. Your closest interfaces are Maintainability Feature leader and Service Engineers. Further you work closely with Product Development and Service Market Products in the projects securing the requirements are met.

Main activities and responsibilities:
Read and understand targets in project prerequisites document and transform it into serviceability requirements in the projects to reach the best in class uptime. Further you provide input, verify and validate concepts/solutions and project requirements. In the role you also support the solution provider to allocate the requirements to the component break down level and aftermarket products. Gathering and analyzing of product and project knowledge. Provide requirements area knowledge to stakeholders and solution providers. Occasionally support requirement balancing with business case calculation.
Profile:
We believe the best candidate have a technical Engineering degree with a genuine vehicle interest or have a background from the vehicle aftermarket field. It is a merit if you have worked as a Requirement Engineer or a Service Engineer.

Good vehicle maintainability knowledge
Good skills in engineering virtual tools
Holistic view and ability to work cross functionally and build strong relation
