At Consulting Services we host the Request Office of Application Delivery Gothenburg. The mission for request office is to handle, drive and track requests for professional services for the Volvo Group and selected external customers. The manager for the request office should drive an efficient request handling through the site and actively drive the process according to our competence and sourcing strategies.

The request office manager work close to the Global Request Office manager and all managers within Consulting Servicers Gothenburg as well as with the request offices at all sites.

The Request office manager is part of Consulting Services GOT management team reporting to CS GOT Site Manager and part of the functional Global Request Office team and functional reporting to Global Request Office Manager.

Request Office GOT handled about 2000 unique requests for professional services during 2011.

Main responsibilities are:
Manage and drive the Request Office process in Application Delivery GOT
Manage and track the use of external consultants on site AD GOT
Drive the request and staffing according to our sourcing strategy in close cooperation with all global sites within Consulting Services
Driving continuous improvement within the request handling process
Gather and follow local KPIs, report to different stakeholder e.g. CG GOT management team and CS Global Request Office

Profile:
Managers within the Application Delivery need to have the ability to create an efficient and trustful day-to-day cooperation in a geographically spread organization. This requires an understanding of how to bridge the gaps in an organization with cultural diversities and how to create team spirit and a common agenda. This position requires broad background from Volvo IT and previous experience from request handling, staffing and one-time deliveries. Management background from this areas as well as international experience will be considered as an advantage.
