Dina arbetsuppgifterAbout the position We are looking for an English-speaking reporter/content marketer who will work together with our editorial team to cover the Internet of Things, start-ups and sustainable business. The ambition is to help one of our key clients to discover exclusive stories, fresh voices and emerging trends on how an all-connected world will impact people, business and society at large. The ideal candidate is an all-in-one editor, writer and videographer who masters the art of creating a continuing flow of valuable and engaging content - articles, blog posts, videos, social media and live events, someone who can do quick breaking stories off the news as well as longer reported features, and who has the ability to translate techy buzzwords and complex topics into simple and engaging stories attracting a wide audience. Responsibilities (examples) . Generate ideas for and create compelling stories based on a vast amount of research . Respond quickly to breaking news and developing stories around the world . Conduct interviews with start-ups, old-school business people, scientists, regulators etc. . Be active in relevant social media dialogues . Quickly create and publish 'fun facts' based on second-hand information . Attend and report out stories from different events and conferences . Measure, analyse and continuously improve reach and engagement of published content
Utbildning och erfarenhetSkills, experience and education . Fluent in English . Excellent writer of long and short text for different target audiences . Excellent skills in recording, editing and publishing photo, video and sound online . Enthusiasm for digitalisation, sustainability, Internet of Things and new business models . Documented experience with multichannel content creation (publishing, blogging etc.) . Experience from using WordPress (CMS), Google analytics and major business software applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.). . Skills in social media publishing strategies and tactics . Skills in SEO is a plus . Audience development and subscription strategies experience is a plus . Wi think you have an academic background in economics, communications, social sciences or other related field.
