Working with the future at our part of R&D
At Complete Software & Electronics Integration (CSEi) we are integrating and testing the complete electrical system for new platforms and programs. We design rigs and are working with base technology integration, core systems application integration, software- and electronic domain integration all the way to complete software and electronics delivery striving to maximize the test-value. We work with test strategies, enable continuous integration, and operate the complete baseline. We are also expanding our SW factory community and have a responsibility across R&D to build our continuous build and configuration flow.

The mission of our agile release train is to:
* We bring integration driven development and test into product creation to continuously demonstrate that we deliver the best electrical system in the automotive world
* We secure a capable stable and robust electrical system for SPA2 and beyond through continuous integration/verification/validation and deploy
We deliver a fit for purpose complete software baseline to the end user

Our department was established to take lead in the coming challenges with electronics test and integration on a complete level. The department is highly prioritized, and we are facing a new exciting stage.

We are now looking for two release train engineers to support our journey towards building a world class software test, integration and Cx community.

What you'll do
As a Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will be driving and organizing the Agile Release Train (ART) events and assist the teams in delivering value to the larger solution/system. You will assist the execution, feature/capability completion tracking and report status. You will drive relentless improvement and contribute to drive change throughout the whole solution. You will also drive to remove and escalate impediments, manage risk and help the ART to ensure delivered value. You will work in an ART that supports and build the Cx flow for the entire R&D which will give you the great opportunity to impact on the whole solution and build a large network throughout R&D.

Also, you will...
* Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART
* Organize, drive and facilitate the PI planning event incl. Pre- and Post-PI planning
* Organize and facilitate periodic synchronization meetings for the ART sync
* Assist with decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation and tracking by teams
* Help manage and reduce risks, dependencies and impediments incl. escalation
* Work with product and solution management, product owners and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
Together with the existing RTE and release train architect define the software integration flow

We believe that you have a passion for coaching teams working within embedded software systems and large-scale software development organizations. You have experience and interest in SW build and CI flow, working in an agile organization following DevOps practices and Scrum.
Do you fit the profile?
We see that you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical, Data or Physics Engineering or equivalent. You have some years of experience acting in a leading position and leading larger product development assignments. You are a great communicator able to create visual communication and used to make presentations in English.

You seek to continuously improve the efficiency and drive the transformation to a digitalized way of working by moving from manual to data driven methods. You share your leadership experience to coach, support and collaborate with others that motivates others to act, grow and to take accountability for the complete system solution. You take a systematic approach to visualization and handling of architectural technical debt. Always keeping the goal in mind that our software- and electronics- architecture and processes should enable our business. You are communicative and can use suitable value argumentation in dialogue with both product managers, stakeholders and when empowering the test and integration developers

Who are you?
On a personal level, you are a team player and contribute to cross-functional work. You have a technical background with an interest in SW development, DevOps methodology and have hands on SW development or SW testing skills. Further, you are driven, you have the ability to take initiatives, plan, manage and follow up your and your teams work towards overarching objectives. You also need to be a person that has a holistic view and a problem-solving approach, because in the daily tasks you need find different angles. Furthermore, you will have a lot of contact with internal and external contacts; therefore, you need to have good communicative skills.
