There is now an opportunity for you to be a part of the development of automated transport solutions as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) within Vehicle Automation. The solutions that you will develop will be in our pioneering products.
This position offers you the challenge to facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value.
We are now looking for 3 Release Train Engineers to join our team at Vehicle Automation.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In Vehicle Automation we currently have 2 Agile Release Trains, the A2V train (Autonomous Automated Vehicle) and the DAVA (Driver Assisted Vehicle Automation). The scope for the A2V train is on the higher level of automation and the scope for the DAVA train is on the driver assisted automation
The A2V train has been up and running for just over 1 year and the DAVA train has been up and running for just over 2 years. There has now been a decision to restructure the A2V train and split it into 2 trains and therefore we searching for 3 RTE's for the following ART's
1.ART for higher level of automation on Public Road
2.ART for higher level of automation on Confined Area
3.ART DAVA
As an RTE you will be part of the train management and in this position you will be a servant leader and coach. Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement are key activates. The RTE also has an important role in the cooperation between ART, portfolio/large solution level, line organization and projects.

IN YOUR DAILY WORK YOU WILL
• Be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from advanced engineering and into the maintenance phase
• Facilitate and drive the PI Planning event and secure readiness by fostering the preparation of Vision and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings
• Lead Scrum of scrums and train management meetings
• Help manage and reduce risks and dependencies
• Encourage collaboration between teams and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and implementation alignment
• Drive continuous improvements e.g. in way of working

Skills and experience
• MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software, Physics, Mechatronics or similar
• Minimum 5 years of experience from automotive electronics development
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Project management or leadership experience is a merit
• Experience from agile product development using the SAFe framework is a merit
