Connectivity at Scania is one of the keys in Scania "driving the shift" strategy. At EC we work with enabling solutions with a span from OnBoard, via Telecom to the Scania OffBoard platform.
In the EC department we work with VCTs as a framework for finding synergies and encapsulation of dependencies. The roles of solution manager, solution architect and release train engineer already exist in the group. However, now we need to reenforce the role as a VCT Release Train Engineer with another team member. We are now looking for a coordinating technically curious person that could operate the VCT; IoT Communication.
What you will do
You will be one of the key figures in the EC Flow (SAFe at EC) setup. The main persons driving EC flow are Solution Manager, Product Managers, Solution Architect and the Release Train Engineer. You will be a part of this team and be working in collaboration with these.
The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART) called VCT at Scania. The RTE's major responsibilities are to facilitate the ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. RTE 's coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive improvements.
Who you are
We are looking for a project manager or engineer with leader ambitions. You enjoy communicating with engineers on a daily basis. Structuring meetings and information flows is easy for you. Agile development, continuous deployment and integration is well known to you.
You have a higher education with at least 5 years' experience from a technical area. Knowledge of connectivity and/or the electrical system at Scania is a huge advantage. You take responsibility for what you do and communicating in English and Swedish is easy for you.
