Position description:
Volvo Group Telematics (VGT) is a part of Volvo IT and is a global organization within the Volvo Group providing telematics off-board services. Volvo Group Telematics enables & accelerate customer-oriented off-board telematics service development & delivery. Volvo Group Telematics supports the Volvo Group whilst the WirelessCar brand is used to support external customers in the Automotive Car OEM segment such as BMW and Audi.
Transport Solutions within Solution Development EMEA (SD EMEA) department is responsible for developing and maintaining our transport solutions for commercial vehicles. The main solution in the Transport Solutions group is Dynafleet. The responsibility of the Release Manager is to ensure successful upgrades of the solution into production on a regular basis. In your role you will be an active and integral part of the daily work performed in the team responsible for the release. Members of the release team differ over time and depend on the content of the release. In the future there might be added additional customer solutions into the release responsibility. You will be part of the Transport Solutions operational team.

Plan and manage releases
Plan and implement deployment into production
Drive needed process changes to secure quality of releases
General profile:
The Release Manager of Transport Solutions Delivery needs to have the ability to work under demanding and changing conditions. As person you are innovative with a strong customer focus and a business oriented attitude. You enjoy teamwork, contribute with team spirit and you like taking responsibility.
This position requires:
• A university degree in engineering or computer science or similar
• Documented leadership competence and previous experience as project manager or similar
• Experience from software engineering and agile development
• Experience from telematics together with projects and needed competence
• A global and agile mindset with strong customer focus
• Ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams
• Strong interest in process improvements
• Have capacity to execute against set targets and a ?can do? attitude
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with your internal and external partners
• Customer business knowledge - build, develop, and grow any business relationships
• Good planning skills
• Fluent in English and Swedish - both written and spoken
