The department Order to Delivery (O2D) IT is responsible to support Production & Logistics at Scania with IT services. We are together setting the future IT landscape to support a global production system and cooperation within the Traton Group.
The section Production & Logistics Platforms serves as the backbone for digitalizing Production with some of our core IT deliveries.
What challenges are we offering?
We are introducing a modern digital ecosystem throughout all our production sites. Exchanging our core legacy production and logistics systems and at the same time helping Production & Logistics to realize their business development needs.
As a release manager, you will work in a global company and be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the release process for the SCADA products. You will have a crucial position to establish a modern way of working for release management within Scania. The position requires you to be a part of our team in Södertälje and spend at least 2 days a week in the office.
What you will do
• Design, implement, operate, and improve the release Management process
• Plan and coordinate different kinds of releases with the SCADA team and stakeholders in SCANIA IT and in the production units.
• Monitor and report on process performance and make suggestions for improvements where possible
• Facilitate the release process, ensuring effective communication and time planning
Your profile
You have strong communication skills, and work in an agile and structured way. You are comfortable in a role that requires cooperation, problem-solving and responsibility, as you will work closely to the SCADA team and several stakeholders at Scania. You are flexible, prestigeless in finding the best solutions, and a team player, as you will design, build and maintain the release processes for the SCADA products from start to finish. Previous work with SCADA products is very meriting.
You can communicate well both orally and written in English and Swedish.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in driving and being responsible for release management
• Certified in any of ITIL v3 or v4
• Solid understanding of ITIL release process
• Experience in working with software development, GIT, Jira and agile methodologies
• Experience from SCADA products is meriting
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
