Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite Release manager to an Automotive project.
The project aim is to optimize, extend with new features Automotive Solution. Our clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and USA and development is targeted to Automotive Solution what will be deployed in newest European cars. The project is considered as technical excellence and we are paying huge attention to technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellence compensation.
At our project we are building battery management eco-system - key for enabling Electric cars innovation.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience on Release manager's role in Automotive industry
• Detailed understanding of Change management process
• Hands on experience of partricipation in CRB
• Experience in HW and SW delivery acceptance
• Great organization skills
• Stakeholder management
• Traceability matrix
Job Responsibilities:
• Tack all the projects of a release from inception through development (project level testing, integration testing as perRelease standards)
• Work with Architects to analyze the inter dependencies of the projects/artifacts and will communicate to all the respective parties
• Responsible for working with Engineering team, Project team and Architects and finalizing the scope of the release
• Create Release milestone dates and also has the authority to move the milestone dates depending on the status of the release
• Responsible for finalizing Release environments
• Working with business to plan the deployment timings, Engineering teams to prepare the production deployment plan
• Review the plan with Service Delivery/ATT/Engineering/Business teams and communicate the daily status including the QA/Performance defects to every team
• Communicate the go/no go status of a release before production deployment to the Management, business and to all the channels
• Aligning all the required resources for the production deployment which includes ATT, QA, Perf, Engineering, Product Management, PM, Business and other channel representation
• Responsible for getting all the artifacts deployed in Production and all the communication during the process
• tracking all issues raised during QA validation post production deployment & post production HotFix deployment
