About the client:
On behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced Release Manager. This is a full time job placed in Karlskrona. Your tasks:
As a Release Manager you will be responsible for negotiating, planning and managing all release activities. You will be working in close co-operation with project teams and other internal and external stakeholders. Your main responsibilities include ensuring that we have appropriate deployment/distribution plans as well as measuring and monitoring progress to make sure that solution releases are both according expectations and delivered on time and within budget. You will also lead and coordinate go-live activities, manage risks and take part in improving release processes.
Your profile:
Required skills:
– Understanding business and its requirements, both functional and non-functional
– Analytical approach to issues
– Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
– Desire to learn new domains and understand complex issues
– Broad and general technical knowledge, as well as deep understanding of enterprise architecture
– Experience with enterprise systems like CRM, billing, order management etc. software
– Proven track record with release management related activities
Prefered skills:
– Proven track record in working with the modern IT, Communications Service Provider and/or Telecommunications landscape
– Organized and analytical mindset
– Ability to implement a project schedule and to handle multiple priorities
