What we offer
Connected Experience unit within R&D includes Connectivity and Car Cloud Platform, Infotainment Platform, Applications and Data & Diagnostics. Our vision and strategy are to maximize the attractiveness of owning and using a Volvo, make all cars connected and provide a continuously enhanced experience for both new and existing cars. The ART Connectivity Platform within the Department Connectivity Platform is responsible for delivering Global Connectivity as a service - E2E including HW, SW and Mobile Network Services. The platform we provide is the prerequisite for all connected applications and services within the vehicle.

What you'll do
As a Connectivity Release Manger, you will be a member of a Release team handling SW releases in Connectivity products as TCAM, VGM and VCM towards the Connectivity experience Solution.

• You will own Quality Assurance, branching strategy and integration and delivery of SW from the ART to Solution and Car Projects.
• You will plan, lead, supervise, release and report status and quality of TCAM and VGM - and in this capacity you will be technical support to the Release Train Engineer (RTE)
and Product Manager (PM).
• In addition, you will work closely with Product Owners (POs) and Scrum Masters (ScM) for feature teams, TCAM Continuous Integration (CI) team, ART Release Team,
Solution Release management and our Tier 1 Suppliers.
• We also expect you to have an interest in the technology we work with and provide new ideas to continuously improve our processes and ways-of-working.

Connectivity ART is developing SW, hence SW development background is considered an asset!

You and your skills
Your daily work will be as central point regarding timing of supplier release and deliveries. You are skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Most probably you have a MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Furthermore, you are strategic- and business-minded. We think that you have experience from agile software development and understanding in the areas of SW branching methods.

On a personal level
We are looking for a result-oriented individual with problem solving focus and good ability to adapt constant changes. Business acumen, integrity and courage are characteristics that describes you very well.
The position requires a meticulous and reliable leader with high multitasking ability and excellent communication and networking skills. Due to the seniority of the position, we expect integrity, confidence, as well as respect and support to the teamwork and collaboration with all internal and external parties.
Supporting the teams with test driving we expect you to have a European driving license type B.

Do you fit the profile?
For this role it is meritorious if you have a university degree within software development or equivalent. It is also beneficial if you have previous experience from working as a Scrum Master and software.
As a person, you have the ability to lead teams, to apply a holistic and strategic approach, motivate and create confidence in the team. You make things happen without someone telling you what to do.
You prefer to plan and solve problems in a structured manner. You are also very comfortable to cooperate and communicate with people on different levels in the organization and have an interest
and competence in Agile working methods.
Supporting the team with test driving we expect you to have a European driving license type B.
