About the position
On Perido we are now helping our client, a multinational financial services corporation, to find a qualified Release management Lead to join the European Market Services Project Management Office (PMO) in Stockholm. The PMO supports and coordinates product development and project management across European Market Services. They connect business ideas with innovative solutions and executable project plans. Your daily tasks
As a Release Management Lead, you will lead European Markets teams involved in IT deliveries, mainly related to development of financial derivatives products and systems. The role requires active involvement in planning, resourcing, monitoring, and managing IT releases from initiation through to completion. It is expected that you supervise and coordinate existing product development processes and forums that support IT releases. As a Release Management Lead you report to the Head of European Markets PMO.
Your qualifications
The Release Management Lead role is suitable for a creative and ambitious professional with a strong academic record and experience from coordinating and managing multidisciplinary Financial Industry and/or IT Technology projects/programs. To be successful, you will be required to demonstrate a goal-oriented mind-set, keep extra attention to details and strong work ethic, and be able to identify solutions using existing experience and be comfortable using own judgment. It is important that you have the ability to prioritize right when needed, so you can reach the main goal and meet project deadlines in time. Other important procedures to reach the project goal is by developing effective relationships to get things done, as well as effectively resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle, ideally before they happen. Experience from leading people and successfully execute projects will be the keys to succeed in this role. Requirements
Academic degree in Business, Technology, or similar discipline
Previous project management leadership experience, project management certification
A few years of Technology or Business project management experience
Business expertise, understands key business drivers
Project Management:
• Proactively seeks out and utilizes available project management tools and resources.
• Develops components of project plans and prioritizes tasks to achieve project milestones.
• Tracks and monitors multiple aspects of a project simultaneously (e.g., project deadlines, performance to specifications and requirements, identifies and solves issues).
• Status reporting to management.
Emotional Intelligence:
• Interacts with others in ways that are friendly, courteous, and tactful and that demonstrate respect for individual cultural differences and for the attitudes and feelings of others.
Fluent in written and spoken English
Contract type and hours
Full time. Assignment is set to start 3rd of January 2022 and end initially 5th of August 2022, with a possibility for extension.
