Tasks
Our customers and their projects are in all areas of the electrical power industry: transmission/distribution/substation, FACTS/HVDC, generation power plants, station automation, SCADA/EMS/DMS, Wind & Solar power. As a protection engineer with us, you will work with the latest technology at various companies within power grids, electricity, and energy. The most important thing in your role is to meet the customer's needs and to follow legal requirements and standards to ensure that the projects are implemented within budget and on time.
In your role you will (including but not limited to):
• work with projects ranging from complex product deliveries to larger contracts with total commitment directly to end customers
• independently responsible for configuring the relay panels and control system in projects for different electrical plants
• be responsible for ensuring that hardware and configuration meet the customer's specifications and requirements, both at the tender stage and in projects
• work with testing of relay protection and control system and take responsibility for the associated FAT and SAT
• take part in testing of other parts of the control plant such as testing of current and voltage transformers
• participate in service assignments and provide technical support to customers regarding relay protection

If you have knowledge and experience as a senior electric power engineer from the electric power industry, preferably as lead engineer and/or technical project manager, it would be an advantage.

Your experience and skills
You have relevant training and experience from the role of protection engineer, and from the electrical power industry of working with Swedish or International Utilities and International suppliers. You also have knowledge of the necessary legal requirements and standards. You have experience in configuring and testing relay protection and control facilities in the station automation area.
If you have knowledge and experience of primary apparatus and secondary design (control plant), and experience in electrical engineering, RTU and MicroSCADA, have knowledge and experience as a senior project manager from the electric power industry, preferably large EPC-contracts and/or complex construction projects, it would be an advantage.
You are used to work in MS Office, and you have a valid driving license. You are fluently speaking and writing in English.
