We are now looking for you who would like to join us as Regulatory Learning & Development Associate Director, in our Regulatory Process & Compliance Team. The Learning & Development (L&D) team supports and collaborates with the different Regulatory teams in AstraZeneca globally, as well as other L&D teams in the company.

What you'll do
As an Associate Director you will be responsible for the Delivery of agreed training and capability framework related activities, according to priorities set by the L&D Director and governance board. This means to define and deliver training including design, maintenance and continuous improvement of training activities for the Regulatory R&D groups. You support the annual process for assessing Capability and Learning & Development needs, including prioritization and phasing of delivery as well as ensuring engagement of the right expertise (e.g. SMEs /external resources) to develop and/or deliver training and training solutions.

You will support line managers in the effective training of staff, deliver periodic staff updates to highlight implemented & upcoming procedural changes with a focus on process training. Taking responsibility for the management of assigned AstraZeneca project and processes communication and being accountable to develop relationships across Regulatory groups, and other relevant areas of AZ to execute the delivery.

Additional responsibilities:

Responsible for improving the quality and delivery of training and development in partnership with the accountable business and process owners
*

Support delivery of the L&D strategy, as well as the Process Area and Learning Leads and skill groups in the determination of training requirements, assignments, review of job roles and delivery of Procedural Compliance Training
*

Advise on approaches to evaluate training effectiveness and in the collection and analysis of training evaluation metrics to support continuous improvement
*

Collaborate across the organisation in remit to enhance training and L&D capabilities, working with stakeholders to support effectiveness of delivery
*

Engage in global AZ initiatives for improvement of training and L&D, as well as ensuring appropriate involvement or review of materials
*

Develop and implement training communications to the appropriate stakeholders
*

Provide support to Program Leaders, presenters including Process Owners in delivery of effective awareness or training sessions through standard outlined presentation templates, structure for repository and for scheduling and arranging regular Process update communications
*

As applicable, contribute to development of content outlines for eLearning or Instructor Led Courses, designs and writes instructional activities for eLearning using storyboards or other design documents that include content to support learning objectives, knowledge checks, interactive learning exercises and final assessment items

Essential for the role

*

University Degree in Science, or Learning, or a related discipline
*

Professional Learning & Development, training or project management qualification
*

Experienced in working in the highly regulated life-science industry
*

Experienced in planning and delivering effective training
*

Experienced in modern technology and tools for communication and/or training
*

Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and influence others
*

Facilitation skills
*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

Desirable for the role

*

Experienced in planning and delivering effective training
*

Experience of working in a global organisation - across countries, cultures, and time zones
*

Knowledge of AZ business and processes
