EY Advisory Services in Sweden is experiencing strong growth within financial services risk management and we are looking to grow the team further as more clients turn to us to provide them with support in improving their overall risk frameworks, governance and systems. The Financial Services Risk Management team delivers sustainable benefits to our clients through tailored services across credit risk, operational risk, market risk, insurance risk, risk technology and regulatory advisory.
We are currently looking for candidates with 2-5 years of experience within financial services risk management for a professional services / consulting firm or within a banking / insurance environment. Experience from a financial supervisory agency is also of interest. As a risk management consultant you will:
• Provide a valued and substantial contribution to risk management engagements at banks, credit institutions and insurance companies
• Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support and maintaining communication
• Contribute in solution and proposal development

Your background:
• Understanding of the European and Nordic financial services regulations and regulatory process
• Ability to analyse and interpret the impact and implications of regulatory developments and communicate these clearly in writing and verbally to internal and external customers
• Good understanding of financial services industry (banking or insurance)
• Good understanding of accounting and/or capital requirements and/or regulatory reporting regulations
• Experience with MiFID and/or Insurance Distribution Directive and/or Recovery and Resolution Directive would be a distinct advantage
• Previous experience at Finansinpektionen would be a distinct advantage
• Team player, ability to work under pressure and to deadline
• Strong and effective communication skills (report writing and presentations) with clients, regulatory authorities and internally
• Experience from leading/working in regulatory projects
• A genuine interest in following the regulatory developments of the financial services industry
