The RBS Node Verification department is responsible for RBS 6000 products for LTE, WCDMA, GSM and Multi standard. This includes maintaining highest possible quality on products in field and to develop new radio base stations in close cooperation with Product management. The organization is operational both in Kista, Lindholmen, Ottawa and Beijing.
The RBS Regulatory Approval Market Access, located in Kista is expanding to be able to take on assignments for the next mobile generation products, standards and technologies.
Job Description
Our world-class mobile system are constantly evolving. We are now looking for a new Regulatory Approval (RA) persons who can help us ensure Global Market Access for all RBS products.
You will be responsible for performing setting RA test strategies on LTE, WCDMA and GSM on RBS 6000.
You will work towards product Management, external customers, government authorities, test houses and Notified Bodies ensuring that we can sell our products globally.
The work is based in Kista but you will have the opportunity, to work with and on other sister sites in Beijing, China and Ottawa, Canada for a period of time. The position might also require some traveling to our 3rd party test houses. The main tasks and responsibilities for this position are:
Creation of test strategies for RA Radio, EMC, Health and Safety for the requirements on the RBS product
Work towards customers, product management, government authorities and system departments to ensure that we got global market access for our products.
Be Ericsson's customer representative at 3rd party test houses and Notified Bodies.
Participate in pre-studies and investigations on coming new products.
Write verification documentation i.e. verification specifications.
Work with CE, FCC, Part 15, Part 24.
Be updated on the products to be verified
Participate in the development of the verification process
Participate in reviewing requirement specifications, verification specifications and test reports
Competence and personal qualities

• Have an academic degree minimum on Bachelor level in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Computer Science or similar.
• Have a minimum 4 years of practical experiences from working with regulatory approval and verification
• Extensive knowledge of test and verification within the EMC, Radio and Safety area
• Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations within RA area.
