As our Regulatory Affairs Manager, you are responsible that all products, including artworks & packaging, are compliant with EU and local legislation. Your role includes the answering of regulatory questions from your internal customers, supporting Foods and Refreshment innovation projects for the Nordics and providing Regulatory support to advocate Unilever positions towards external stakeholders in Sweden.
This position is a part time position set for 80% and is located at our office in Solna, Stockholm. The role will include travelling within the Nordic countries approximately a couple of times a month. You will report to the Lead RA Manager Foods & Refreshment for Benelux & Nordics.

Main accountabilities
1. Regulatory Support to Innovation projects (focus on Nordics)
Support product innovation projects for Foods and Refreshment categories for the Nordics through the installed way of working, in co-operation with the Local Deploy, Legal and Nutrition functions.
2. Regulatory Compliance (focus on Sweden)
• Own, and maintain up to date, the local interpretation of technical regulatory requirements for the marketing of our products
• Regulatory support the Legal Dept in relation to in-bound and out-bound challenges
• Provide interpretation of existing local Foods & Refreshment legislations
• Provide ad hoc regulatory expert support to your R&D business partners on compliance tasks, e.g. pack labelling, product notifications and claims.
• Provide regulatory training to your internal customers (e.g. R&D, Brand Building)
3. Advocacy (focus on Sweden)
• Support the local External Affairs function and/or Local Management in the execution of advocacy plans of Unilever Foods and Refreshment dossiers.
• Participate in relevant Trade Association Technical meetings in order to gather local regulatory interpretations and to advocate the Unilever positions.
Background
We believe you have academic background in Biological Science, Food Law, Chemistry or similar. You have working experience in Food Legislation and regulations preferably within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry. As a person you are a team player and networker, good communicator and great with people. You are extrovert and not afraid to talk in public. You are fluent in English and Swedish, both oral and written. We see it as a plus if you speak Finnish and understand Danish.
