Job description
ENT is a surgical care unit with a large flow of patients related to mainly the elective surgical activities. The department take care of patients with more urgent diagnoses. Most of the patients are self-propelled as they are rarely operated. Therefore our work mainly consists of helping patients with respiratory, swallowing and pain problems etc. Here we focus a lot on the work with enteral nutrition and tracheal care. The department is also specialize in cochlear implants and care for patients with cancer who do smaller and larger operations.
Our ENT unit offers you a varied and stimulating work. With us, you work in close collaboration with other nurses, assistant nurses, doctors and speech therapists and dietitians.
As a nurse you take responsibility for that patients receive the care they need. You get to supervise new employees and students. In your daily work you also have a lot of contact with the patient 's relatives.
To get a good start with us we organize an introduction for you to feel more confident in your new assignment. During the introduction you will be offered to be a part of a mentorship program where you are assigned a mentor who you can turn to for advice and support in your development.
The position includes working shifts (evenings, nights and weekends).
Requirements
Registered medical license within the EU/EEA with an interest in ENT
If applicable, specialty in ENT registered nurse
Basic computer skills in Microsoft office
English and Swedish language skills

Terms of employment
Before moving to Sweden you need to reach a certain level in the Swedish language and have your medical training recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare

If the trial period will be proved satisfactory and you demonstrate required skills recognized by the County Council of Östergötland, it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.
All contracts follow local and national collective agreements. Salary are set individually depending on your qualification and experience.
