JAS performs a strategic acquisition of Greencarrier Freight Services, to strengthen its position in the Nordic, Baltic, and Eastern European regions. The two companies have been partners for several years and the new organization is designed to enhance JAS' presence and ability to serve its clients as well as offering Greencarrier's clients an even higher service level, broader solutions and access to a truly global network.

The region covers the Nordic and Baltic countries with 650 employees (wherof 100 in Sweden and 200 in Norway) working in operations, sales and support.

In this new position the Regional Vice President, Sales & Marketing is primarily responsible for supporting, developing and implementing JAS sales structure and sales policy for the region aligned with a successful integration of the existing market. This position provides sales support and drives all sales efforts to meet or exceed sales growth. You will also be involved in GAM accounts initiatives either directly or with the local sales structure with 5-10 sales managers reporting with dotted line. The VP Sales & Marketing reports to the CEO, based in Gothenburg, and is a member of the regional management team. The ideal location for this role would be in the south of Sweden or eastern Denmark.

Main functions:

• Provide sales leadership and strategic planning for the region
• Lead and motivate entire sales force to achieve required gross profit growt
• Develop annual sales plan in support of regional sales strategy and objectives
• Establish sales targets to meet regional objectives
• Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses

Profile and requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years international sales management experience in the logistics industry
• Previous P&L experience desired
• Experience of change management, integration and organizational development
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, specialized in business, sales or international trade
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Nordic language or German
• Strong computer skills
