WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Axis is looking for a pedagogical and engaging Technical Trainer who can plan and conduct the training for Axis' customers in the UK & Nordics, contributing to making Axis the most professional training provider within IP surveillance. This is done by driving the training agenda program and conducting professional training for Axis' customers in the region.
Axis Communications is the market leader in network video, driving the ongoing shift from analog to digital video surveillance. Training our customers in our technology and the market are therefore key functions and something crucial for our success.
As Technical trainer you will be the central point of contact regarding training in our region, implementing new material from HQ and localizing it with relevant examples from the region. In addition to this you will drive the requests and wishes from the region towards the Axis Academy team at HQ and together with them work on new modules and lab examples.
You will also be assisting our sales organization by preparing and presenting technical product presentations designed to provide the essential skills for our clients to successfully implement network video surveillance systems.
Apart from above it will be your responsibility to:
Deliver classroom based courses, webinars and presentations, primarily within the UK. Occasionally you may provide trainings in the Nordic countries.Promote Axis training & product offering internally at local office (Sales engineers, KAM, Marketing, Inside sales etc.) and externally (partners)Localise and update training materialSet up Axis products at events or meetings and demonstrate the Axis portfolio to Customers.Serve as Axis diplomat on training and new product initiatives
You will be part of an international team covering the region Northern Europe (UK, Ireland, and Nordics) and report to the Regional Manager for the Sales Engineering and Training function.
The role is office based, in Lund, and includes extensive travel. You will typically travel two to three weeks per month, during which you typically travel 2-4 days/week.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a professional trainer with a passion for teaching, a pedagogical mindset and an ability to motivate customers and other stakeholders when transferring our knowledge about products, systems and the market. You are a driven, motivated team player with a resourceful and flexible personality.
Furthermore we believe you are/have:
• Well acquainted with IP networks and topics such as networks, camera technology and image quality or traditional surveillance.
• An educational background, teaching technical subjects /or a technical background with teaching experience
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Technical interest in order to build knowledge about products and systems.
• Fluent in English, additional language useful within the region is beneficial.
