Role Summary/Purpose:

The Sales Manager will report to the Commercial Leader for the Nordics & France who reports into the Commercial Leader for Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) EMEA. The role will be responsible for managing relationships with local dealers in the Caravan, Motorsport, Marine, Industrial, Agricultural & Technology industries to deliver financial targets.

Essential Responsibilities:

Monitor & analyse developments in the Nordic market as well as CDF?s competition. Provide updates internally as appropriate.
In cooperation with Commercial Leader and Vendor Relationship Manager team to devise in-country strategy to drive expansion and profitable growth in the Nordic market. Execute on agreed strategy and ensure OP targets are met.
Build strong personal contacts into local vendor base to enable accurate forecasting of credit lines and customer requirements. Define individual contact strategy for each vendor and execute on it.
Maximise Dealer Penetration. Allocate each target dealer to a local sales team member as appropriate and oversee pipeline activity. Drive program penetration personally by signing up dealers.
Monitor CDF program attractiveness in the market space and drive improvements where appropriate.
Monitor program Share of Wallet (SOW) and Credit Line Utilisation at both program and individual dealer level. Maintain close dialogue with Vendor?s and key dealers. Understand Vendor?s strategy/plans and develop action plans for CDF to ensure OEM?s needs are met.
Identify potential new OEM relationships and support Commercial Leader / Vendor Relationship Managers EMEA and NRD-team in winning these programs.
Proactively work to build CDF/Nordics? profile in the Nordic markets by participating in local Vendor dealer meetings, relevant trade shows and industry association meetings.
Liaise with marketing team to promote CDF?s profile in targeted markets. Support CDF risk, collections and S&D-teams where appropriate to ensure CDF/Nordic?s losses in the industries are minimised.
Manage in conjunction Nordic Commercial Leader the timely & effective rollout of new Vendor programs to the dealer network ensuring that new opportunities are optimized.

Qualifications/Requirements:

A good knowledge of / passion for the served industries
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) programs
Excellent sales and relationship management skills
Experience and a track record of achieving sales targets in a fast moving commercial finance environment
Able to work under tight schedules and consistently meet objectives
Ability to interface with various internal functions and internally/externally at a senior level
Strong fluency in Swedish, Norwegian and English, fluency or knowledge of Danish considered as an advantage
Strong team player/self motivated
